Can you take a picture of what you are describing? If it is the tail of the belting and the reason for the glue is to keep it from accidentally being pulled thru the buckle, then any form of Superglue will likely work. Also use a hot-knife to sear the nylon where you make the cut.

Thanks, Brent, that is what I had in mind. I didn't dream of trusting glue for the working part of the belt!
