I disassembled my L31 Tudor from the sub frame, quarter panels , the back panel, cowl assembly. It was a big long job! All of the pieces I took and had chemically stripped. There are rivets, spot welds that hold the body on to the subframe. If you go this far, I would make a flat top work platform on wheels and bolt or screw the body subframe to it. Going back together every seam was prepped and then primed and painted. You will need to dedicate a lot of man hours.
Don't force it with a little hammer tap, tap, tap
get a bigger hammer tap done
