Yes: That is an issue as it will leak out of the engine through that area.
The babbitt on rear main is only secured by lag holes it is not fused to the metal.
Get a hardening sealer and carefully smear it into the hole after you've cleaned it thoroughly. Just make sure the oil groove is still open for the oil to traverse across where you've sealed it.
