Thanks for the info. I have not checked into any plating shops locally, yet.

I thought about simply powder coating it, but I have learned to not trust powder coaters all that much as I have had some parts ruined in the past by someone who didn't know how to do things correctly. I am not so sure I want to purchase a unit at Harbor Freight or not at this time. That actually may be the best route to go on this piece though, as the truck is a daily driver and not a true restoration project.

Yeah, that part looked crimped on. I think I have some aircraft rust remover and I may shoot that onto the back to remove the rust there. I no longer have my sandblast unit and my wife loves that fact, for sure. :-)
