I'm not quite sure what your asking, but the short cowl subrails fit under the main subrails right at the cowl posts, the main subrails are stepped to fit over the short front ones. Then the 90 degree cowl post brace sits on top with I believe 2 bolts that sandwich the whole assembly to the wood blocks and the frame if you need pictures pm me your address and I will send you some.
