When I first bought my 29 Tudor it shook like a paint mixer every time I let the clutch out from a stop. The disc was almost new and the flywheel and pressure plate looked fine. I installed a new swap meet disc and good used swap meet pressure plate, then lightly sanded the flywheel with my palm sander. Now it's as smooth as an automatic.

I also dialed in the flywheel cover while it was apart. So, I'm still not sure what the exact problem was, but at least it's fixed.
