Default Re: My 1928 Phaeton

I placed an order today for a few items, the fuel line coming out of the firewall and the mess there is a big item on my to do list that change the fluids and check the brakes. the front suspension as well. the tires are showing some dry checking plan is to make sure the spares hold air and hope that they will get me around town till i can get a new set coming.
for right now i am not going to be picky on what is 100% accurate or not just going to drive it and have fun this summer. Concentrate on getting the big items done then on to the smaller stuff after that the details.

I have been spending a little time on what fluids to use this is what i gathered so far off of here and other places.
Motor oil 30w non detergent
steering box 600w stp or grease.
Transmission and rear end stp +gear 90w 600w or something equivalent.
I believe there is straight 90w in there now it seam like it is.

If i am wrong on this please let me know.
