More confusion from me.
Since the consensus was that it was toast, I desided to investigate further. I cut the tube a couple of inches further away and tried to remove the bearing/rubber. Found an appropriate driver and wacked the bearing with my 8 lb sledge. I did seperate the inner tube from the torque tube. Nothing would dislodge the rubber from the inner tube or the bearing from the rubber. I had at it for quite a while. I finally dented the bearing cage and thru the mess away.
I am glad 32's don't use center brngs. I failed.
