I too, installed the LED Focused Beam LED Headlights, Run Lights, and Brake Lights prior to driving to Texas in June. The headlights draw 1.3 amps each and the tail and brake lights with brakes applied draw less than 1 amp. Old school guys like NDNCHF and myself still running generators will like the low power requirement and not having to fiddle with the 3rd brush anymore. I just set the generator to about 3-4 amps and forgot about it. As far as brightness, big improvement over incandescent bulbs. Yes, they are expensive but, I'm looking for any advantage or improvement I can get regarding safety and these bulbs really help during night-time driving.
