Re: "Unrestored Original" - except for paint, upholstery, top, plating
Like most of the A's we started with, unrestored, but hardly original.
Survivors, that were not put aside, most often had sealed beam headlights and 16" wheels and tires just to make it through WWII still running. Original sized 19" and 21" tires and original headlights were common consumables hard to get by then and many other broken parts were also replaced with what was easily available. That is why unrestored and truly original is so rare.
