Default Re: Small mirror, big blind spot

For what it is worth:
I have the 4" mirrors and it takes a bit of aiming to get it right. The passenger side mirror is looking at the weeds on the side of the road behind the car. I balance the view so that a car will disappear from the rear view mirror at the moment it appears in the side view mirror. When it is leaving the side view mirror, it is next to me so I can see it through the rear side window (Tudor). The driver's side is similar but if I lean toward the door, I can see the side of my car. The passenger side mirror is tilted out far enough that I really need to lean into my passenger area before I can see the side of the car. This really seems to keep me out of trouble, hope it helps.
