I don't really have a cap on the budget, If it's nice, real nice, ... I'll pay it.

I've done a few restores in my day, and I've learned one thing, ... Let the other guy do 90% of the work because you will ALWAYS loose money and a lot of it. So my goal is to find one that has been restored already, but restored properly. If I have to do some of the smaller piddly stuff, I'm fine with that.

I have made a note to ask the owner about the numbers not matching. I dought he'll let me lift the body, but he better have some pictures of the number on the frame that were taken during the rebuild process.

Car dealers are not an issue if you know how to play with them, ... I used to wholesale used cars to used car dealers, ... so yeah, ... I know how to play their games, ... all of them. You either have to play the games far better than they do, or you go BK reaal quick.
