Yikes, glad those guys were not badly injured! Your thoughts on the activation of the dump bed at a car show are right on the money! I was thinking the same things. If I was to raise it for show it would need a safety prop of some type to allow it to rest at a safe location. maybe a 4x4 across the frame and lower the box on to that? Good safety suggestions! Yes it is somewhat operational. I have raised it only 4 times in one year.
See if I can load some pictures. of the recent events. Car show last night in Edinboro PA and the lot was packed. Again the 32 dump got lots of looks and wonderful comments and questions. Had a great time, was invited to go by a local guy that may have a nice driver car that could be for sale, but it is a mid 60's Comet, so it wont fit in here very well. Just another toy I was drooling over. Might be good for Cheryl and I to putz around in too?
