The 1952-54 Ford cars use the same brake shoes as the 1967-68 Mustang V8 so the self adjuster conversion uses those parts. This video shows them being replaced

What it all comes down to is finding a later model car that used the same shoes as the 50's Ford and installing the matching hardware and adjuster kits. The ex-member that did the original post went on a rant over a post he found as political and has blocked me and all the pictures and links from the Group that had helped a lot of guys over the years.
