Stipe makes an alloy hi-volume oil pump but it's more than $350. Are there other oil pump options that work well, but cheaper? Someone mentioned to me there's someone on the forum that modifies v8 oil pumps for an A, anyone know if they're still in business?
I believe that the guy who converted the V8 oil pumps for A/B use, is no longer doing that service. He is a 4E4 guy and used 59A..B flathead pumps for his conversion. He, Cliff, partly machined some housings, then his health and "life"...got in the way ! Hoping that he gets well enough to do that work again, as his finished product was like a piece of jewelry ! Beautiful reliable pump !!

Joe Sevil (sp) in Turlock (dba: Turlock Machine ?) makes an A/B pump of alum and hardened chev gears. It is CNC alum bodied..nice piece of work like the Stipe pump, but a bit less $.
