For me it's about the money. The original was not leaking. When I pulled it out at the beginning of the rebuild project I took it to a local shop. Getting my 41 1/2 ton radiator checked and cleaned was $175.00. A new aluminum Chinese one was $225.00 delivered. This was a no brainier. I bought the aluminum unit and have had NO cooling problems.
