Definitely earning my keep on this project.
The replacement cowl / windshield section I'd acquired is a '38. Enough differences to necessitate some surgery.
Need to install the '40 back up plates for the top bow clamp parts as well as swap the cowl vent sheet metal. That part I hadn't realized was different than '40. Live and learn

This replacement cowl is rust free but had not been treated nicely in storage. Lots of dings - some fairly major. All in all, I'm glad to have it.
