Back in the 90's, there use to be hand held tool that greatly sped up putting a new door skin on car's door frame. It was called Skin Ease or Ez or something like that. I tried googling it, but nothing came up with those search words.

If it existed then, I'm sure someone improved upon it by now. 24 gauge is lighter than most 18-20 gauge panels, so it should work.
