It's doubtful that a tank that is level with or below the carburetor will have any gravity flow. The B engine and all of the V8 engines were set up for a fuel pump. If mechanical won't work then use an electric one. A fuel pressure regulator may be needed depending on the carburetor and type of pump in use.
