As the title says, I have a 36 Glove Box with a 37 Clock installed. The hole cut in the glove box door is perfect. The install of the clock looks factory. Now, I assumed this was done by someone and of course , they did a very nice job. Then , low and behold a friend came up with the exact install done. Another 36 glove box door with a 37 clock installed. It was also a perfect job and the 37 clock was modified the exact way the one in the pic was . My question is, has anyone else out there heard of this ?? I have heard all the stories of Dealers back in the day doing anything they needed to to sell a car. I would guess if a customer wanted a clock in the glove box door, and a 36 clock was not available , the dealership would do what they needed to and get a clock put in the glove box even if it's a 37. 36 and 37 are fairly close in looks if you don't have them side by side to compare.
Any thought on this interesting topic ??
