Default Modern Style Grease Fittings

I have a 1930 Tudor and about 30% of the grease fittings were replaced with modern fittings before I bought it. I definitely like the modern fittings better than the original fittings because I often can't get a tight fit on the old fittings and grease seems to go everywhere except into the fitting.

So...Since I don't show the car and use it as a driver I purchased a modern Grease Fitting Kit A-353000 from Snyder's and it came in the mail yesterday. The kit has a wide variety of modern fittings, but they all have threads. I know many of the existing fittings are pressed in...Do I just pull the old pressed in fittings out and let these grease fittings make their own threads as I twist them in? Is there another kit that I should have ordered instead?
