A friend of mine had one of the Borg clocks with a strange looking mounting bracket, at least compared to the ones we're used to seeing. Thanks to a Barner, we figured out it was Roadster/Phaeton which was kind of a face-palm type of realization since the glove box door is slimmer and tapers compared to the closed cars and Cabriolet/Convertible Sedan. I knew there was no way the normal bracket would work, mainly due to the hinge spring location, but this one matched the shape of the door much better and offsets the clock to clear the spring and knob. Anyway, after swapping him a coupe-style bracket, I used the correct one on my roadster at it fit perfectly. I just needed to cut the hole for the clock (a little nerve racking on a painted door).
In my searches here, I only found one reference to the bracket by Don Rogers in this thread...

Since it's an old thread, I included a couple pics here of clock brackets that Don posted as well as the clock installed in my Roadster.
I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone finds one of these and needs to identify it. Anyone else have or seen one in an open car like this? Please post pics if you've got 'em.
