Babbitt Metals at Vince Site

How much? You really need a lot to do a motor and there would be significant waste for doing a motor. So is it enough to do an engine? What do you expect from the engine? If you are building a touring engine for tens of thousands of miles it might not give you the life you want. I believe it would be a softer metal as the copper and anitmony give the babbitt more strength to handle the pounding in an engine.

To do babbitt right you need a large pot as a small pot will change ratios of metals more due to oxydation. There are a lot of considerations to pouring babbitt I will not get into.
