I will be following this closely. I have the same issue, after 5-10 minutes of driving the GAV migrates to fully closed, too lean. I tried replacing the grommet, still does it. I farmer fixed it for now by wedging in a round baking toothpick between the grommet and GAV Rod. Was going to see about a permanent fix this spring. Was also going to ask here what to try.
