Sears sells a charger for about $25 called a Die-Hard that will charge a 6 or 12 volt battery. It has a selector switch. It charges 2 amps at 12-volt, or 4 amps at 6-volts.
What is a really good feature is that the charger will not turn on unless connected to a battery. If one of the leads should fall off it shuts off. There are three indicator lights. When plugged into power one tells you it does not see a battery. When connected to a battery the second one tells you it is charging, the third tells you when the battery is fully charged.
