Hi Fordman

I would recommend installing the dash as light as possible, it makes it easier to install the guage set secured but I let my hang secured to a bolt on the firewall, my wiring was connected, It takes some work crawling up under but my seat was outside the car during install, install the 2 bolts on either side then 1 screw on top to hold it there....that way the dash can be moved around to see if the bolts near windshield line up, hope this helps...Gump
