I suppose the county has shrunk a bit, Greencastle Pa is no longer in Lancaster Co., its directly above Hagerstown MD. I live right on the PA line, just below Lanc. Co. and spend quite a bit of time there. I have been told that Grubb is somewhat of a common VA name. My great grandfather had 2 families. My grandfather (born in the late 1800's was from his first wife/family. Story i was told he left them and started over! Dad did a bit of research and went back to the homestead in the early 80's, said that not much had changed in the last century and he did run into some relatives. Unfortunately that part of our past died with him, I would like to re-research it one of these days.
