It might make a difference. It wouldn't be the only difference I'm sure. Canadian production sourced parts from some different suppliers than Ford USA and Ford US may have also had sources that Canadian Ford didn't use. 1941 was the first year of the three different quality and price level cars among other things like the intro of the G 6-cylinder engine.
