Default Re: Quality Control of Parts

Norm, I rebuilt the rear in my '35 last May and that rivet is important to get in there correctly. Apparently, I didn't get my rivet peened correctly on the ends and it has come partially out and is pinging on the inside of the torque tube. I have to take the rear back out and correct this. You can bet this will be dome more carefully this time. I would suggest getting that rivet from another supplier. Maybe Roy Nacewicz, Carpenter, C&G, Brown in Texas, Mac VanPelt, etc. It's apparent that MAC's doesn't have what you want/need. Do it right the first time or you may be doing it again like me.
