Did you just cut off the original fan bracket base and re weld it further over?
Are these cast or forged? How would the welding heat affect the fan hub?
Thanks.
The intake manifold was not altered. I just fabricated a new fan/pulley mount out of 3/4" flat stock and a short piece of round stock plus mat. for gussets. This provided a welded platform to drill a hole for the original pulley shaft to be pressed into. This only moves the fan/pulley to where it belongs. The alt. is mounted in its original location.
