I may be lazy, but I'd have a hard time going down town to get a money order or writing a check, then mailing it to the vendor, then waiting for it to clear so the vendor can ship my items. Two clicks and I've paid for the item and it is on the way to me that day or the next. If a vendor ONLY accepts checks or money orders I will probably continue to look for someone that takes PayPal or a credit card.
BTW, every check you send contains your bank name and address, Your address, your bank account number, your routing number, and your signature. If you are one of the paranoid types, this is probably not a good way to pay for any item.
