I know this doesn’t help with your question, and I’m not sure if you’re only interested in restored cars but, a friend of mine has a ‘33 Coupe Cxxxx Hot Rod. He replaced all the wood with square tubing. He’s been running it off and on for probably 35 yrs......Mark
