Hmmmm, mine has "Model A" cast in the head as well. Just thought that was the way they were. Mine is NOT a high compression head and i don't think there is anything unusual about the combustion chambers.

After posting the information from Vince's site I went and looked at one
I have today and it's NOT a copy of a police head, mine looks just like
a stock head.
