They didn't stop a car as well as the lincoln brakes did.

Kinmont went on to be the chosen brakes on the Tucker automobiles, but we all saw the Tucker movie and know that they only made 50 cars.

even more rare are the Ausco Lambert brakes on the 1949-1954 Crown Imperials (limos) which use the same type of technology.
