Default Re: National Drive Your V-8 Day, 6/18/22 !!

It's winter downunder...today [18th] took the 35 for a drive to the next town, a round trip of only about 50 miles. It was fine when I left, started to rain about 2 miles down the road, it got heavier and heavier the further I drove. Called in at my mates Engineering workshop, did a quick job on his lathe, it pissed down the whole time. I left to go home, it was bucketing down. Blow me down, the closer to home I got, the clearer the weather became. Got home, the roads were still bone dry! Weird weather! But I drove my V8 on your national V8 day, possibly the first V8er to do so on account of us Kiwis leading the International time zones.
