Almost all automotive fuels in the USA are 10% ethanol. There is no choice, unless you buy expensive Av-Gas or racing fuels.
So, in order to assure that fuel connections don't leak, we in the USA must contend with the
devils' spit (ethanol).
Normally at this point I would start a rant.
