Default Re: Don’t Laugh, cam nut removal

I actually removed mine with a hammer and punch recently. Of course the already buggered up nut was even MORE buggered up afterwards.

Resolve me - buy a new nut AND buy the wrench from the supplier.

So new nut and wrench comes in the same package. Trying the wrench on the nut IT DOESN'T FIT. Only a minor interference and a few minutes with a hand file made it work.

But wouldn't you think SOMEONE would have done a "proof test" to be sure the new wrench works on a new nut? ESPECIALLY if they are shipped in the same package?
