A friend of mine owns an auto glass shop. Fully 50%, yes HALF of all new windshields delivered to him by UPs were broken. Mind you, new glass is packed very well and VERY WELL labeled as to the content.
The last straw was a windshield delivered with footprints on the box. That was the last package from UPS he had accepted.

A very good friend of mine owns a USA based global shipping company. He will ONLY use UPS. He has by far had the lowest damaged or lost package claims with them. Don't even talk to him about the USPS. They were the absolute worst, followed closely by Fed Ex. At least your friends packages showed up. With the USPS and Fed Ex they just disappear!
