I had a '51 Deluxe Fordor in '78. It had the optional rocker arm stainless trim. Rockers and rear quarters had bad rustholes, but the flathead ran good. Drove it to work from '78 - '81 and left it sit in the backyard for three years when I left town to go to work in Texas. When I came back, I had it hauled off to a junkyard, but some guy who had a '49 bought it straight out from them. Mine had an all black exterior with mohair interior (but interior upholstery was badly torn up. I had a '55 (and still have the same '55) that I was driving, so I didn't need the '51 anymore.
