I don't have an actual spec but a good rule of thumb with all new parts (including round balls on the ends of the arms) is to tighten the plugs until they are flush with the opening and then just enough to line up the cotter pin hole.


I think I did read that you want 25% spring compression somewhere, how you measure that easily is beyond me.
