There's a reason why the engineers designed these to be a press fit. Without that proper fit, the bushings don't do what they need to do - namely, offer torsional twist to aid the return of the spring to it's proper ride height.
I shake my head at the guys that grind these down to make for an easier installation. Why replace the old ones when you are destroying the new ones prior to installing?
There's "easy" and there's "correct". Not always are they one and the same.
