The machine shop I've been using here inspected an extra 312 block I've got, it's already 60 over. The head machinist/owner did some extra looking and finally found an 80 over set of pistons & rings and said he'd be comfortable rebuilding it at that size.
It's an EDB-E with a January '58 date code if that makes a difference.
Some years of blocks may tolerate that amount of over-bore better than others, I don't know.
