Default Re: 1936 Bumper Bolts

Bob, The answer depends on whether you have a pickup/panel or a passenger car.

If you have a passenger car:

The end of bumper hardware is a Raven carriage bolt 7/16 - 20 x 1 1/8" plus a raven 7/16 - 20 nut (3/8" thick) plus a raven 7/16 lock washer (1/8" thick)

The bumperette hardware is a raven 1/2 - 20 x 1 3/8 thick head bolt plus a raven 1/2 lock washer (5/32" thick)

If you have a pickup/panel delivery:

The end of bumper hardware is the same as above

Since there is no bumperette, the hardware consists of a oval shaped stainless clad bolt (part # 40-17758) (1/2 - 20 thread) plus raven 1/2 - 20 nut (7/16 thick) plus a raven 1/2" lockwasher (1/8 thick)
