I have not done the front - but I don't see any reason it could not be done.
Well, that is if you don't mind slightly less thread section retaining your two bearings and front hub onto the spindle.
This sort of like "bushing the eye" on a kingpin on the axle. Sometimes necessary to restore a wallowed out eye or correct camber/caster, but necessarily MUST weaken the front axle incrementally.
We're fortunate that Ford built a considerable margin into the Model A Ford. Not like my 2002 VW Golf which had wheel bearing guaranteed for 100K miles. VW was very disappointed when my first front wheel bearing let go at 89K miles, but were pleased as punch with the "other" front wheel bearing failing at 102K miles.
Tell me they don't pretty much know how much life to put into these bearings?
And don't give you a cent worth more than you pay for when you buy the car?
