I had a cheap electronic LED flasher on my model A. It never worked well and only lasted a few months. I went to an auto parts store and in the electrical catalog I found aheavy duty large 12V truck flasher. It is a small cube and will flash any type of load and I do not think it is voltage sensitive. It was expensive $20 or so but it has worked for several years.
