This explains the fans used in your truck. Technically, it's not the 8BA (passenger car fan). You should have the 21A oil filled type fan.
Repair parts have become scarce this past year. I do have the impeller & shaft, but not the spindle bearing by itself. I recently found some of the complete hub & sheave assemblies with new internal parts. Check with our sales office this week and we can let you know what we have. |
thanks so much for your info ,I didn't have a clue that it worked like that .
I,ll take it apart to see whats what and take it from there ,if all else fails I have a unit from a v8 pilot that possibly could be used maybe short term ,it probably has a narrower belt but at a glance looks similar , I,ll make a start today and contact your sales people if needed , many thanks again , Jim.
