It seems like a resourceful inventor could build a sealed cartridge bearing system that could fit entirely inside the ample hub housing. all you would need is a machined shaft, a couple of bearings, and a tube running through the middle of the hub to press the outer bearing diameter into.

It could look 100% stock on the outside, which is the best part. The bearings could also hold up for a very long time, given the low mileage a lot of our vehicles see.
