Mart I did think about using the truck shaft but at some stage in its life someone has welded the centre fork to the shaft!! So I don't think that will be an option but as you mentioned if its clocked wrong I could always cut and weld the lever to suit the pedal shaft.

Not going to be doing many miles a year in the truck just attending a few events, definately not drag racing so if those teeth hold out for a while I will be happy.
