There were trucks with 59 engines, Ford made many different fans for different applications, they mostly mounted to the same place, I used a 49 merc generator and the 59 engine original truck fan when I put the 49 merc in the truck

Most likely if the overheating occurs over 40 mph it isn't the fan's fault
