I'm guessing you would need some sort of sleeve coupler on the output shaft. Maybe cutting off the yoke on a u-joint would work.

Why would you want to? This transmission is open drive from the factory, and there is 2 different lengths of tail shafts that i know of. I would think a old Ford would use the short one, and use the yoke off of it.
